Kitesurf School in Tarifa
we offer two types of courses oriented and designed especially for children: private and semi-private. In both modalities, one or two children respectively, will be accompanied by an instructor at all times.
The evolution of your children in this sport will depend on the duration of the course you hire. You can be sure that they will surprise you: children’s learning curve is usually very fast.

Depending on the duration of the course and the weather conditions, the kids will acquire more or less skills, find out how our courses are structured!
- First day (minimum 2 hours per day). Their first contact with this exciting water sport. You will learn how to set up the kite and how to recognize each of the elements necessary for the safe practice of kitesurfing. These training hours are essential to take the next step.
- Second day. After learning the basics of kiting, let’s get into the water! We will focus on teaching the children one of the main techniques of this sport: the bodydrag.
- Third day. You will see your child becoming more skilled with the kite, 100% adrenaline! At this point, there will be no turning back. He will love this sport forever.
- Fourth and fifth day. We will focus on improving your navigation in both directions and on making you enjoy your first steps as a kiter.

Two types of kitesurfing courses ideal for children: private and semi-private 2.1
When we work with children, we emphasize their vigilance and 100% child-centered instruction. In our Kite School in Tarifa we offer:
- Private kitesurfing courses for children. One instructor per child. Personalized learning facilitates and speeds up training.
- Kitesurfing course for children semi-private 2.1. Two children per instructor. They will share the board and kite in a paired learning experience.

You don’t have to worry about the material for the kids, no more loads! We take care of it. In addition to the insurance and the rescue boat, the course includes the rental of:
- Wetsuits in all sizes for children.
- All safety elements for the practice of kite: helmet, harness and vest.
- Kite and kiteboard from top brands.
- Walkietalkie so they can talk to their monitor at any distance and receive orders and indications.

Do the children have to bring something from home in order to take the course?
It is not necessary for children to bring any kitesurfing equipment. However, it is very important that, in addition to comfortable clothing, you bring the following items for sun protection and hydration:
- Sunglasses with drawstring.
- Sun protection SPF50+.
- A cap or accessory that covers your head.
- Water or juices.
Another must-have? Lots of vitality and desire to have a good time.
