Wing Foil Surf Course in Tarifa

Subcielo Kite School Tarifa offers you the ultimate wind sport added to kitesurfing. The wing surf foil is having a very good acceptance for the practitioners of water sports, and tarifa is the perfect location to have the first contact with the new sailing sport. A place like Tarifa, with its huge beaches and different spots according to your needs makes learning wingfoil easy and fun.

Meaning of WING or wing: it is a type of fin that generates a lift when moving in the air or other fluids such as underwater, so we have a transverse wing with handles that we will hold with our hands and another wing in the water (hydrofoil).

With this sport you don’t need lines like kitesurfing and the sail (wing) is not attached to the board like windsurfing. With only your hands and a leash to avoid losing the wing, you can glide through the sea thanks to the hydrofoil board. On the sea it is the best option since the little resistance it offers with the board and its hydro you get very little resistance. You can also use it with your skateboard or even in the snow.

You also have the option, if you wish, to do your wing surf foil class with a support boat where you will not have to walk on the beach or do it with your instructor giving instructions from the shore. For this wing surf foiling course you don’t have to have any previous knowledge of kite or wind to start with this adventure.

You like the sea and the wind but you can’t go to Tarifa to practice your favorite sport like kitesurfing and the nearest beaches don’t have the amount of wind you need to enjoy kitesurfing. Wingfoil is not a sport that needs a very strong wind, so when the conditions are not right for your favorite sport, you can wing surf foiling and add another day on the water.
